Affecting Server - APOLLO-HMUK
05/08/2026 - 09:00 GMT+2
We are pleased to report that the email queues have now been cleared, and website performance has returned to normal for the vast majority of clients.
Our technical team is currently completing the final optimisation and housekeeping tasks in the background following the restoration. These remaining processes are expected to have minimal impact on server performance and should not noticeably affect normal website or email usage.
We will continue to monitor the server closely to ensure everything remains stable and performs as expected.
Thank you once again for your patience, understanding, and support throughout this incident. We truly appreciate the trust you have placed in us while we worked to restore services.
04/08/2026 - 11:10 GMT+2
We are aware that some clients may currently be experiencing slower-than-normal website performance and delays with inbound and outbound email delivery.
Following the recent server restoration, a number of background recovery and optimisation tasks are still being completed. These processes are placing additional load on the server, which may temporarily impact the performance of websites and email services.
Our technical team is actively monitoring the server and taking steps to minimise the impact while these final background processes are completed.
We appreciate your patience and understanding and will continue to provide updates if there are any significant developments.
03/08/2026 - 15:10 GMT+2
We have now downgraded this incident to Low Priority.
Over the past six hours, we have not received any new reports of service disruptions or requests for assistance, indicating that the restoration has been successfully completed for all clients.
Our technical team will continue to monitor all services closely and remains available to assist with any isolated post-restoration issues that may still arise.
We would once again like to thank all of our clients for their patience, understanding, and support throughout this incident. Your cooperation has been greatly appreciated, and we remain committed to providing a secure and reliable hosting environment.
03/08/2026 - 08:30 GMT+2
Following the successful completion of the restoration process, our technical team continues to assist the small number of customers who are still experiencing post-restoration issues.
One of the more common post-restoration issues we have identified is that some clients' public IP addresses have been temporarily blocked by our firewall. During the restoration process, email applications often made repeated connection attempts while access to email services was temporarily restricted. In some cases, these repeated attempts triggered our automated security protection, resulting in the client's public IP address being temporarily blocked.
If you are unable to connect to your email, please contact our Helpdesk and provide us with your public IPv4 address. To find your public IP address, open a web browser on the device experiencing the issue and visit: www.whatismyipaddress.com
Please send us the IPv4 Address displayed on the page. Our team will check whether your IP address has been blocked and, if necessary, unblock it promptly to restore access to your email.
We appreciate your continued patience and understanding. Our team remains committed to resolving any remaining post-restoration issues as quickly as possible.
01/08/2026 - 14:00 GMT+2
We are pleased to confirm that all customer accounts have now been successfully restored and are back online.
Our technical team is currently assisting the remaining customers who are experiencing post-restoration issues, most of which are related to file permissions and account configuration following the recovery process.
We are also pleased to confirm that the temporary resource limitations placed on our email services during the restoration process have now been removed, and email services have returned to their normal operating levels.
If you are experiencing any issues with your website, email, or hosting account, please contact our Helpdesk so that we can investigate and assist you as quickly as possible.
We would like to sincerely thank all of our clients for their patience, understanding, and support throughout this incident. Your cooperation has been greatly appreciated, and we remain committed to resolving any remaining issues as quickly as possible.
31/07/2026 - 13:15 GMT+2
The end is now in sight, and we are pleased to report that our technical team continues to make excellent progress with the restoration process.
The vast majority of customer websites are now back online, and we are working through the final stages of restoring the remaining hosting accounts and services. Each account continues to be carefully verified before being considered complete to ensure everything is functioning correctly.
We understand that many clients are waiting for access to their email. Although email data is being restored alongside websites and databases, it is by far the most complex and time-consuming part of the recovery process due to the volume of individual messages and mailbox data that must be restored and verified.
To ensure the restoration can proceed as quickly and reliably as possible, we have temporarily restricted access to email services while the recovery is in progress. This reduces the load on the server, allowing our team to complete the restoration more efficiently. Once the recovery has been completed, these temporary restrictions will be removed and email services will return to normal.
Although there is still work to be done, we are confident that we are entering the final phase of the recovery. Our team remains committed to working around the clock until every website, email account, and hosting service has been fully restored and verified.
We would like to sincerely thank all of our clients for their patience, understanding, and support throughout this incident. Your encouragement has meant a great deal to our team, and we look forward to announcing the successful completion of the restoration process as soon as possible.
31/07/2026 - 08:45 GMT+2
Our technical team continues to make steady progress with the restoration process.
During the early hours of this morning, at approximately 02:00, we encountered an issue while restoring one of the data blocks. To ensure the integrity of customer data, we rolled back that portion of the restoration, repaired the issue, and restarted the process for that block. While this has added some time to the overall recovery, it was the safest approach to ensure a successful and complete restoration.
We are pleased to report that the majority of websites are now back online. The remaining websites will become available as soon as their respective data blocks have been restored and verified.
To ensure the restoration process completes as quickly and reliably as possible, we have temporarily applied stricter resource limits to PHP, databases, and email services. These temporary measures reduce the overall load on the server, allowing the restoration to proceed without interruption. Once the restoration has been completed, all resource allocations will be returned to their normal operating levels.
Our team continues to work around the clock to complete the recovery as quickly and safely as possible. We sincerely appreciate your continued patience and understanding, and we will provide further updates as significant progress is made.
31/07/2026 - 01:20 GMT+2
The restoration of customer accounts continues, and we are making steady progress in bringing all remaining services back online. Our technical team is also working directly with customers who require additional assistance to ensure any remaining issues are resolved as quickly as possible.
In parallel with the recovery effort, our senior technical team has already begun a comprehensive review of our recovery procedures. This includes identifying opportunities to further improve and streamline our restoration processes so that, should an incident of this nature ever occur again, recovery times can be reduced.
We remain committed to restoring all remaining services as quickly and safely as possible and sincerely appreciate your continued patience, understanding and support throughout this process.
30/07/2026 - 15:00 GMT+2
Our technical team continues to make good progress with the restoration of customer hosting accounts. Accounts are being restored and verified on an ongoing basis, with more services becoming available as the process continues.
While much of the restoration is automated, a number of important manual steps are required to ensure that each account, website, database, email service and configuration is restored correctly and operating as expected. Although this adds to the time required, it helps ensure the integrity and reliability of every restored account.
Our team remains working around the clock to complete the recovery as quickly and safely as possible. We sincerely appreciate everyone's patience, understanding and support during this time, and we will continue to provide updates as significant progress is made.
30/07/2026 - 12:30 GMT+2
Our technical team continues to make steady progress with the restoration of customer data and services. While the process is taking longer than we had hoped, we want to assure you that restoration is progressing successfully.
Restoring a hosting server is not as simple as copying files back onto the computer. Each hosting account must be restored individually, with its website files, databases, email accounts and settings all carefully recovered. Once restored, every account is thoroughly verified to ensure the data is complete and that all services are functioning correctly before being made available.
Because of the large volume of customer data involved, this is a time-consuming process. Our priority is to ensure every account is restored accurately and securely rather than rushing the process and risking further issues.
At this stage, we are unfortunately still unable to provide an estimated completion time. However, please be assured that our technical team is working around the clock to restore all services as quickly and safely as possible. We will continue working until every account has been fully restored and verified.
We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding and will continue to provide updates as significant progress is made.
30/07/2026 - 08:30 GMT+2
Our technical team continues to make steady progress with the recovery process. Customer data is being restored while each account and service is thoroughly verified before being brought back online to ensure everything is functioning correctly.
We are pleased to confirm that the server is now online. However, websites, email services, and hosting accounts will become available progressively as the restoration and verification process is completed.
Due to the volume of data involved and the careful validation being performed, we are unfortunately unable to provide an estimated completion time at this stage. We sincerely appreciate your continued patience and understanding and will provide further updates as significant progress is made.
30/07/2026 - 05:15 GMT+2
While our technical team continues restoring services, we wanted to provide some additional context regarding the current security incident.
Over the past 30 days, our security systems have detected a significant increase in malicious activity targeting our hosting infrastructure. Daily blocked attacks have increased from approximately 60,000 per day to well over 350,000 per day, with peak days exceeding 400,000 blocked attacks.
Cyber threats are constantly evolving, and attackers are continually developing new techniques in an attempt to bypass security measures. While no security solution can guarantee protection against every possible attack, we employ multiple layers of defence to identify, prevent and mitigate these threats before they can impact our services.
This incident has reinforced our commitment to continually strengthening our infrastructure. As part of our post-incident review, we are implementing additional security measures, further hardening our systems, and continuing to invest in new technologies to help protect our clients' websites, email and data.
We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding while we complete the restoration process. Our team remains focused on restoring all services safely and securely, and we will continue to provide updates as significant progress is made.
29/07/2026 - 20:10 GMT+2
The restoration process is progressing well. As part of the recovery, all hosting accounts and files must be re-indexed before they can be fully restored. Due to the large volume of accounts and data involved, this process is taking longer than we would like.
Our technical team is continuously monitoring the restoration and working as quickly as possible to complete the recovery while ensuring the integrity of all customer data.
We sincerely apologise for the delay and appreciate your patience and understanding. Further updates will be posted as significant progress is made.
29/07/2026 - 15:50 GMT+2
The clean operating system installation has been successfully completed, and the restoration process is now underway. Our team is currently restoring client data, reconfiguring server services, and validating system integrity before bringing services back online.
Our investigation has confirmed that this was a targeted security incident affecting the impacted hosting server. Extensive checks have confirmed that the incident was isolated, and no other servers or systems have been affected.
At this stage, there is no evidence of unauthorized access to or exfiltration of customer data. Our investigation indicates that the primary objective of the attack was to disrupt services rather than compromise customer information.
All affected data is being restored from our secure off-site backups, which were not impacted by the incident. We are working to restore all services as quickly and safely as possible and will continue to provide updates as restoration progresses.
29/07/2026 - 14:25 GMT+2
