Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your ClientZone account by requiring a second form of verification in addition to your password. We recommend enabling 2FA to protect your account from unauthorized access.

This guide will walk you through the steps to enable 2FA using a time-based mobile authenticator app like Google Authenticator, Authy, Microsoft Authenticator, or any other TOTP-compatible app.

✅ Step 1: Log into ClientZone

  1. Visit your ClientZone login page.

  2. Enter your email and password to access your client area. If you do not have your password, click on "Forgot Password" and enter the email address you receive our invoices and notices on.

✅ Step 2: Navigate to Security Settings

  1. Once logged in, click on your name or profile icon (in the top-right corner).

  2. Select Security Settings from the dropdown menu.

✅ Step 3: Start Two-Factor Authentication Setup

  1. Under the heading Two-Factor Authentication, click on the Click here to Enable button.

  2. You will be redirected to a setup page explaining how 2FA works. Click Get Started to continue.

✅ Step 4: Scan the QR Code with Your Authenticator App

  1. Open your preferred authenticator app on your mobile device.

  2. Tap Add Account or the + icon (depending on the app).

  3. Choose the option to scan a QR code.

  4. Scan the QR code displayed in ClientZone.

Tip: If you are unable to scan the QR code, you can manually enter the secret key shown below the code into your app.

✅ Step 5: Enter the Authentication Code

  1. After scanning, your app will generate a 6-digit time-based code.

  2. Enter the code into the field provided on the WHMCS setup page.

  3. Click Submit to complete the process.

✅ Step 6: Save Your Backup Code

Once 2FA is successfully enabled, a backup code will be displayed. Store this code in a secure location — it will allow you to access your account if you lose access to your authenticator app.

✅ You're All Set!

Your account is now protected with Two-Factor Authentication. From now on, when logging in, you’ll need to enter a code from your authenticator app after entering your password.
