Installing WordPress is quick and easy with Softaculous, a one-click app installer available in Control Panel. Follow these simple steps to set up WordPress on your website.

Step 1: Log in to Control Panel

  1. Log in to ClientZone using your account details. If you do not have the password, you can click on Forgot Password and provide the email address for your account.

  2. Click on Services in the menu.

  3. Select your hosting package from the list.

  4. Click on the Login to DirectAdmin button. This will take you to your control panel.

Step 2: Open Softaculous

  1. In Control Panel, scroll down to the Extra Features section.

  2. Click on Softaculous Apps Installer.

  3. In the Softaculous dashboard, find WordPress and click on it.

Step 3: Configure WordPress Installation

  1. Click the Install Now button.

  2. Under Software Setup, choose the following:

    • Choose Installation URL – Select your domain (e.g., https://yourdomain.com).

    • Directory (optional) – Leave blank if you want to install WordPress on your main domain (yourdomain.com). Enter a subdirectory (e.g., blog) if you want WordPress to be installed at yourdomain.com/blog.

  3. Under Site Settings, enter:

    • Site Name – Your website’s name (e.g., My Blog).

    • Site Description – A short description (e.g., A blog about tech & trends).

Step 4: Create Admin Account

  1. Under Admin Account, set:

    • Admin Username – Choose a unique username (avoid "admin" for security reasons).

    • Admin Password – Set a strong password.

    • Admin Email – Enter an email where you can receive login details.

Step 5: Choose Additional Options

  1. Under Select Plugins, you can enable recommended plugins if available.

  2. Choose your preferred language.

  3. Under Advanced Options, you can set database details (optional).

Step 6: Install WordPress

  1. Click Install and wait for Softaculous to complete the installation.

  2. Once done, you’ll see a success message with links to your WordPress site and admin panel.

Step 7: Log in to WordPress

  1. Go to https://yourdomain.com/wp-admin.

  2. Enter your admin username and password.

  3. Click Log In to access your WordPress dashboard.
