An email forwarder allows you to automatically send copies of incoming emails to another email address. This is useful if you want to receive emails from multiple addresses in one inbox. Follow these simple steps to set up an email forwarder in Control Panel.
Step 1: Log in to Control Panel
-
Log in to ClientZone using your account details. If you do not have the password, you can click on Forgot Password and provide the email address for your account.
-
Click on Services in the menu.
-
Select your hosting package from the list.
-
Click on the Login to DirectAdmin button. This will take you to your control panel.
Step 2: Access the Email Forwarders Section
-
In Control Panel, find the Email Manager section.
-
Click on Forwarders to open the email forwarding settings.
Step 3: Create a New Email Forwarder
-
Click the Create Forwarder button.
-
In the Forwarder Name field, enter the email address you want to forward emails from (e.g.,
yourname@yourdomain.com). -
In the Destination Email field, enter the email address where you want the emails to be sent (e.g.,
yourpersonalemail@gmail.com). -
Click Create to save the forwarder.
Step 4: Verify the Forwarder
-
Send a test email to the original email address (
yourname@yourdomain.com). -
Check the forwarded email address (
yourpersonalemail@gmail.com) to confirm that the email has been received.
Important Notes:
-
Email forwarders do not store emails; they simply redirect them.
-
If you need a copy of the email to remain in the original inbox, make sure to enable this setting in Email Accounts.
-
You can create multiple forwarders to send emails to several addresses at once.
That’s it! Your email forwarder is now set up. If you need any help, feel free to contact our support team.
