After migrating your domain to a new server, your computer might continue to access the old server for your email and website. Follow these simple steps to clear your computer's DNS cache and ensure it retrieves the new server location.

1. Open the command prompt window by pressing the Windows key and R key at the same time and enter cmd in the text box and press enter.

2. You may see a popup asking if you want to allow Command Prompt to make changes to your computer. If you do, select Yes.

3. If you are asked for an administrative login at this point, then you’ll need to contact your system administrator to proceed.

4. In the command prompt window, type ipconfig /flushdns and press enter.

5. Close the window and restart your computer.
